Handling Change      We have choices as to how we will handle changes. Ideally we have excellent coping mechanisms to manage stress and orient ourselves to remember the gifts and talents given to us at birth; engaging them for best results. Asking others for their input and wisdom to assist us through the transition is good too! What we tell ourselves (hypnotize ourselves with) will make a big difference as to how the transition will go. When we approach the change with thoughts of how will I ever do this? What horrible thing is going to happen next? we disempower ourselves, creating an inner conflict which shows up in exhaustion and fear. When we approach the new situation with thoughts of capable, intelligent, supported and creative we mobilize our strengths and empower ourselves to cope. When we approach the situation in this more positive manner we move out of fear, our adrenalin and fight or flight hormones go back to normal and we can get in touch with the thinking part of our mind to come up with new solutions. If you are experiencing a lot of stress due to changes; be sure to reflect on something positive that happened during the day as you fall asleep and something positive you can do tomorrow. The time during which you are drifting into sleep is a magical time, your subconscious is more present and ready to align with what you are focusing on so be sure to focus on the things that bring you harmony, peace and well-being. Be sure to repeat a positive phrase to yourself as you fall asleep; it can be as simple as Every day in every way, I’m getting healthier and happier, or Every day in every way, my mind is clearer and my body more comfortable. Listen to sweet music or a hypnosis or guided meditation mp3 to guide you into good sleep with positive suggestions. If you want to address your situations directly with some hypnosis assistance I can work with you in person or via phone or skype.
